Eating Disorders
-
Disordered Eating
Are you tired of struggling with feelings of guilt and shame around food choices or your body shape and size?
Is your self-esteem linked to how much you weigh or what you think you look like?
Do you worry about how your weight will affect your health.
Our team of experts can help disrupt the shame-cycle so you can eat without distress and enjoy life again.
We can help you find peace with your body and with food.
-
Anorexia
You thought you just wanted to loose a little weight, exercise a bit more, improve your self esteem.
You may imagine, still, that dropping just a few pounds will finally make you feel better.
But it doesn’t end…the urge to eat less, weigh less, feel less — and it’s not getting better.
We understand what’s happening and can help you stop the cycle.
Our experts have helped thousands of people, just like you, recover from anorexia. We are here to help you, too.
-
Bulimia
It feels chaotic, wanting so desperately to do this food thing differently — but just when you think you’ve got it right, an intense urge arises that catapults you back to despair, once again.
Whether it’s through restricting, binging, self-induced vomiting, laxative abuse, diuretics, excessive exercise, or medications (prescribed or otherwise), bulimia spins a web that’s hard to untangle.
Therapy with our eating disorder specialists can help set you free! We get it and we’re here for you.
-
Binge Eating/Compulsive Overeating
Do you find yourself repeatedly eating beyond the point of fullness or binging ‘til you’re in pain?
Do you feel shame about your eating and/or eat in secret?
Have you made numerous attempts to lose weight, finding yourself compelled to overeat at every turn?
Our eating disorder specialists understand you too! We get binging and we can help you recover!
You are not alone.
-
ARFID
If you have been told you are a picky eater, prefer to stick with a few “safe” foods, or have desperately tried to avoid social situations in which you’d be expected to eat a wide range of foods, you may have ARFID (Avoidant & Restrictive Food Intake Disorder).
One of the more recently understood eating disorder subtypes, the challenges with ARFID are more about sensory experiences than about obsession with weight (though weight can also be impacted).
Our eating disorder specialists have a treatment model for ARFID and can help you discover a fuller relationship with food. You deserve to nourish yourself with ease and we can help.
-
Orthorexia
Do you feel consumed by trying to find or prepare food that is clean, pure, non-toxic, or organic?
Do you find yourself avoiding social activities around food, or in conflict with friends or family about what foods are healthy enough to eat?
Despite the fact that you are doing everything to feel better, do you feel worse as the days progress?
Paradoxically, Orthorexia may be depriving you of the nourishment and health you so desperately crave.
Our experts can help you become free from the rules that bind you so you can live your best life.
-
Diabulimia
If you have Type 1 diabetes and have intentionally restricted insulin in an attempt to control your weight, you may have an eating disorder informally known of as “Diabulimia.” This dangerous process that results in a manipulation of blood sugars can have severe and life-threatening complications.

You don’t have to suffer with this anymore - we are here to help.

We can help you recover from all forms of disordered eating and body image struggles, using a non-restrictive, non-judgmental, and body-positive approach.

We can lead you out of the overwhelm and into your life.
